V for Vendetta

Finally we managed to go and watch this movie, It was a really impressing movie, very much symbolic but one could get a very strong message.

The bottom line is "be aware of the wolves that wear the lamb's cloak", and what if it really happens? What are the mechanisms that we have as the people who live in the democracies, to defend against such chaos?

It comes to my mind at times that from the dawn of civilization, or even farther, lets say from the very first moment that we learned to do things in a group rather than alone, appearently we have traded our collective intelligence with otherthings , like greater power, security,... all the sacred values that lead us to modern societies.

But in between, there has always been this defect of masses; reacting according to their panics,

Until then ...

I was off as ususal during the last few weeks. I had the chance to visit Madrid as I took part in a training course and back in Rome I wasted almost a week standing in lines and going thtough all the bureaucratic hassels to get my documents.

For me, both constitute a journey somehow similar to Dante's Divine Comedy which was followed in a different order.

I'll post more on these two vey impressing expriences in the coming days.
